They finally cut all the overtime things are slowing down at work in a way I am glad I do so need the rest last weekend was my first 2 day weekend I needed it, a couple weeks ago I got my first cord of wood I started to split it and after about an hour I came in to get cooled off and when I sat down I had this real bad pain in my side I assumed I pulled something splitting but as time went by it did not get better I kept at the wood and work but last Friday it seemed to peak it was real bad Friday all day then I had to go pick up my pig and then Saturday I had a birthday party after work I was so miserable made me think maybe it was a kidney infection then I got really worried so all day Sunday I just took the day off and laid on a heating pad and kept rubbing mineral ice in it. monday seemed a little bit better so I stacked my wood and got some chores done around the house by the end of the day it was hurting again, so this morning I went to work and took 3 advil by noon it was feeling pretty good and right now almost no pain so I think it is pretty much getting better whatever it was..

So back to the pig, a year ago my co worker who has a farm mentioned he got some new small pigs he was raising for the meat I said I would like to have some so a few weeks ago he said he was taking them to the butcher and asked if I still wanted one i said yes and finally picked it up Friday it is really good and it came out to a little over $2.00 per pound I got so much sausage, pork chops pork steaks and bacon and it is all really good glad I got it.

Other than that all it normal Mom is doing well. The weather is so hot but this weekend it is suppose to slow down hopefully it will would like to have all my wood done before vacation

Yesterday at work we had out much awaited Shaw Audit we have been preparing for this for months it is where an outside auditor comes in and go all around the shop area, inside and goes over all the records it is mostly an environment thing so of course my record keeping was very much in the spotlight. All went well actually it was the best Audit out entire company had there was a few issues with my record keeping but no violations so it was all good he was really impressed with out facility and housekeeping there was a lot of stress till it was over but we passed with flying colors, As soon as it was over they announced no more overtime, some reward huh but that is Ok I am tired of all the crazy hours but will miss the money.

I got my first load of wood Tuesday and started splitting I quit after 1/2 hour I was soaked from sweating it is unbearable hot out so I will just do it a little but at a time my goal is to be done with my wood by the end of September this will make my vacation a lot better knowing all that splitting and stacking is out of the way and I will be ready for winter..

Today I finally got a day off it was great to sleep in, I got a few things done then took Mom down to the hospital she needed to have some routine work done a breathing test and some blood work. After that I took her to Max and Erma's for lunch which was delish.

                        

The weather has finally cooled off a bit well not cooled but a little less humid so maybe here in a bit I might go get some mowing done but other than that I am just going to enjoy one of my few days off

We had a cookout at work today it was to celebrate 1000 days injury free it was a good lunch but just burgers and hot dogs but still nice of then to do that plus we got really nice gray sweat shirts, our next celebration will be 3 years injury free it will be in about 65 days and for that one we get surf and turf and the best is we get an other day off with pay that I am really anxious for love paid days off.  Work is still busy but we are getting caught up i am still working 6, 10 hour days per week but I suspect that will end soon honestly I am looking forward to starting at 7:00 again this 5:00 am is wearing me down but am glad I have such a good job and will work the OT till it ends.

Weather has been really hot so I have been spending a lot of time on the Harley which I enjoy to no end. am going to have to start my wood for the winter dread the splitting and stacking but will be happy when the weather turns cold.
