My work week has begun I found out today that the normal daylight shift (Monday through Friday) get Friday off for the Forth of July, Now we (weekend Crew) will work Friday but we will work 9:00 till 5:30 so we will be there to cover getting the North bound Loco’s serviced and then we will have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday so we get a nice long weekend the crew that works Sunday will just have their normal Friday and Saturday off but they will just receive an additional days pay…

Then new Blackberry is working out Ok I am slowly learning what it takes to make it work it is easy after I figure things out I am glad I got it.

We had a lot of rain today but now that I am off it is not raining but I just heard thunder so I had better hurry and post this before I lose my internet connection,there was something else but I can’t remember for the life of me what it was, my book is really getting good I am almost done with the second book in the series

OK I made the decision I got a blackberry curve really cool phone and since I am saving a ton not buying cigarettes well I went ahead and got the Internet service through Verizon it will cost me about an additional $30.00 per month but there is the cool thing I can plug my Blackberry into my desktop and laptop computer and use that for my Internet that will be another $30.00 per month but my DSL and home phone right now costs me $83.00 sooo if I drop the Internet and just keep my home phone then with that around $20.00 plus my Internet at $30.00 and my Blackberry at an additional $30.00 I come out even and my and my Blackberry Internet will end up costing me no more than I was paying before and it works I am using it right now on my laptop so tomorrow I will try it on my desktop computer and if it works this good then I will use this and cancel my DSL which to me perfectly honest has been disappointing me with the bad and sometimes no Internet connection so I will just unplug that for a couple weeks and see how this works out for me, but so far I am really enjoying my new toy

Today the temp was around 90 degrees it was so hot and humid I almost could not stand it at least I was working inside today, and finally my day was over I came home and did not do much just washed some dishes and got my lunch together for tomorrow. I have an atomic clock on my stereo stand and saw it was 83 degrees inside my house so decided to see if my window AC still works, I leave it in the window all year as it is in my porch window so it is pretty much protected from the weather, anyhow I plugged it is and turned it on and low and behold it works and it is beginning to cool off finally in the house along with the ceiling fan..

Am going to have another cup of coffee, still have my old cell phone maybe tomorrow I might upgrade but still can’t decide my friend has the newest I Phone and she loves it so I am  going to look into that phone and ATT plan first..

I woke up in plenty of time to get ready for work, again I am being tortured with a sore throat can’t understand that will have to see how it feels in the morning maybe will need a trip to the band aid center.

Things were slow at work, I worked on the forklift with a co worker and we also steamed cleaned the floor and catching up on some much need maintenance on some older engines. am that is pretty much how my day went I made arraignments and got the videos for my safety meeting tomorrow at 2:30 for the 2 shifts then just came home and finished up a load of laundry, it is still in the dryer, and made my lunch and talked to Lucy on Skype for an hour and now am done am going to feed Bertha take my shower and a couple Advil’s, and off to bed….

I had some work to do for a friend today her garage door opener did not work correctly after they got hit by lightning the other day, I don’t know a whole lot about Genie garage door openers I fixed the other one for her after her husband ran over the little sensors at the bottom that was easy but I am stumped I think it got a circuit board fried when it got hit by lightning, anyhow after I failed there I went to Verizon to look into a new phone but could not make a decision I want a blackberry but it depends on the cost of the plan I will get the phone itself is only $49.00 and I have $100.00 credit toward a new phone I don’t know I could not get anyone to wait on me as they were really busy so maybe after work one day next week I will go I have until October to make up my mine..

I got to spend the day at Mom’s with the girls and grand kids we had a really good day, I grilled some hot dogs and burgers and mom had made potato salad and some other goodies. Cris got me 2 bottles of wine from a local winery called Rustic Acres Winery one is De Chaunac and the other is Concord I am anxious to try them I am not a big drinker but do like a glass of wine now and again. Kelly got me some Tupperware containers, which I use a lot of for work, and a box of Dove Chocolates LOL am addicted to chocolate and i think Dove is the best.

Am glad to have these Sundays off although I just would have spent time with the girls after work but still good to have the entire day off..

My contract is up with Verizon cell and good timing as I broke my cell phone at work it still works but the face has a big crack in it, I was looking at Cris’s apple I phone damn it is cool but that means I would have to go with ATT if I want one of them I might don’t know yet  have had Verizon for as long as I have had a cell but i do like hers and the package she has am going cell phone shopping tomorrow…

Today was a wet one but I am pretty sure we needed the rain so it was good i worked inside all day we are slowing down but there was enough work to keep us busy all day so that is good. Still have not received my book I have been waiting for although I have not checked my mail yet and as it was raining all day mom may not have checked it so after I finish this entry I am going to check the mail hopefully it will be there….

The trip to the dentist went good they did a lot of adjustments it needed a lot and today they feel better still a little sore but that is expected so it should go away in a couple days if not then back to the dentist but I have high hopes that it will be Ok..

My lunch is make already for tomorrow just a quick couple sandwiches and some beef stew (out of a can) but Friday Mom is going to make stuffed peppers LOL I love them she was going to start them tonight but she is going to one of her senior functions so I said just wait till maybe tomorrow to make them so am looking forward to them..

Today in the mail I got the third book in the series i am reading i sent for both at the same time but doesn’t it figure I would get the last one first but that is Ok i should get number 2 tomorrow. I am thinking I am going to take the Harley out for a ride….

today was a beautiful summer day nice and sunny and warm I decided to get another job out of the way at mom’s she wanted an outlet out on her deck so she can plug in her awning well that turned into more than i wanted it to, the only way to do it right was to run a new circuit from the breaker box and on her double wide the area where she wanted the outlet well there is not wood on the outside wall it is just fiber board under the siding what a pain in the ass to get an old work box there and secure but I prevailed and she now has electric in the deck but I was hot and tired so i am going to wait to put the outlet on the side of the deck I have the wire run and hooked up just need to put the outlet there I have had enough for one day..

when i came home I was craving Tuna noodle casserole I had all the supplies so I went ahead and made it so that takes care of dinner and lunch for tomorrow going to be odd working Tuesday I have had Tuesdays off for so long but don’t worry I will get used to it, Oh my tomato is getting bigger and there is a little one beside it I need to keep watering it due to lack of rain but at least the grass is not growing too fast..
