A couple days ago i spilled and entire cup of coffee on my keyboard and since i learned that is a bad thing yesterday i had to go get a new one i tore the old one apart and tried to clean it but it was too late had to put it to rest on the good side i found a pretty nice one for $16.00 ay Staples and it works good so i am back in business I saw a laptop ther i want to buy for myself for Christmas it is a Dell and it is $599.00 I am no computer expert but it looks like a good one maybe am still thinking about it since i have all my shopping done I may just go ahead and get it, I still want to get something else for Sam and Alex but could get by with what i already got them..

I worked 5:00 this morning till 3:30 and will be working that same shift tomorrow the overtime is nice but 10 hours really wear me out. I decided not to put up a tree this year I don't know why I guess since it is just me here and Bertha could care less so decided to  just scratch the tree this year..

So cold here now this morning was 18 degrees and i am working outside all day but I just layered up and was ok, I sure do like my remote start on my truck LOL it is nice to hit the button and when I leave the truck is nice and warm up. I got my electrical job done the woman who I did it for called and she is just so thrilled with the new light I put on her deck for her and i also put in another outlet for her, I did not charge her I told her Merry Christmas that one is on me she could not have been happier..

Going to go shower and am planning on bed at 8:00 tonight..

Today i took Mom to finish her Christmas shopping that is done and mine is finished as well, Then I went and finished my electrical side job it turned out real good, so I came home and made my dinner and watched a new DVD movie I just bought, Terminator Salvation, The quad started but still did not get the plow on maybe tomorrow after work, now all I need to do is make my lunch for work i am thinking Spagetti other than that a little Monday night football and off to bed…

I did not wake up till after 8:00 this morning I wanted to get up earlier but just could not get to sleep last night but after i did wake up I was glad to be off work as we had some really bad freezing rain this morning a lot of roads were shut down so It was a good day to be off work, I was really lazy all day bertha wanted out but from the looks of the sidewalk I could just see her hitting it on a run and go down and break a bone as old as she is so i made her wait which was just as well she also does not like going out in the rain.

Around 3:00 I called Mom to see if she wanted to go out to eat of course she said yes so I took her down to Kings, I had noodles and beef tips not that good the tips were too tough for my taste but it was OK I brought desert home and just ate it a bit ago, Other than that I did a load of laundry and took out the trash so now I am settled in for Sunday Night Football Eagles and Giants should be a good game. Tomorrow I am taking Mom into Butler so she can finish her Christmas shopping and hopefully get the plow on the quad..

I finally got me week done I turned down the overtime i guess i should have worked but I worked the last 3 weekends and i just want 2 days off my boss asked me again and I politly turned him down sure glad he did not force OT on my they can do that once a year and i have not had it yet but it looks like I now have 2 days off..

We were so busy today I guess freight is picking up we are hauling a lot of coal amd glad to see that happenning, today right at quitting time i hard air blowing for a relief valve on an engine that was schelded to go at 15:00 and it was 14:30 I decided to go ahead and change the valve and sure enough I was rushing and the pipe wrench slipped and pinched my pinky between the wrench and the engine after the inital pain subsided i finished the job that took care of it but I took my glove off and it was full of blood and it hurt like hell I washed it and put a bandage on it but it still feels funny and it all swelled up not sure but i think I broke the damn thing SIGH at least I have 2 days off..

I got home and built a nice toasty fire as it was freezing out today and I finally am starting to thaw out I think I am going to be lazy tonight and do nothing , Oh scratch that I need to put the battery on charge for my Quad it is dead again and tomorrow I need to put the plow on so I am ready for the on coming snow. so i might as well go ahead and get some laundry done Can't wash dishes because of my sore pinky LOL good excuse I hate washing dishes..

My Truck is finally all finished all paperwork is done and i have been driving it for the past week is is fine no side affects of the accident and since I had gotten all the insurance money after a lot of crap, I came out ahead around $800.00 not much, but better than being in the hole all i wanted was my truck back and it is done..I think they did a great job….

Work has been really good I have been working 6 days a week I am not complaining I know so many people are out of work and hurting I was there once so i am thankfull for my job and the overtime I will not turn it down cause I know it will end soon so putting as much away as possible for my rainy day fund..

We had a good Thanksgiving although Mom was sick in bed all day i had gone over the day before and helped with all the cooking and she was Ok I am thinking she over did it and that might have been why she was sick she gets this once in a while where she is real dizzy and throwing up and can't get out of bed or ever open her eyes finally I got her to hold down some ginger ale and then once she could hold down her meds then she started to get better the girls were there all day and they cleaned up and got her house back in order before they left that really helped. So now on to Christmas some of my shopping is done but still need a few things will try to get that all done this week…

We has snow yesterday I hated to see that i working outside all day but as usual wheather I like it or not winter is here…
